I have a definite round face shape, and I currently have medium-long hair down to below my chest area, with a full fringe/straight bangs. My hair is very straight and dark brown. I am dying to cut my hair short and spiky, but keep the sides quite long to give it the illusion of an oval face. Should I keep my fringe, or should I grow it out and part my hair in the middle?

Hi, thanks for the site but i was wondering if you had any suggestions on what hair cut i should get my face is in between an oval and an oblong face which are supposed to suit a lot of hair styles but i cant find one to fit p.s. i just grew out my bangs.Also medium round shape eyes with a small nose and mouth and non-noticeable cheek bones

This is incorrect.
An oval shaped face is 1 1/2 times long as it is wide. An oblong or long face shape is like an oval shape but more than 1 1/2 times long than it is wide. Like Liv Tyler’s face.

It’s great to know what kind of hairstyle will look good on my face shape! But my concern is always on front hair. My forehead is not so big and I think I have a square shaped face. I now have bang, but I kinda want to grow them long. But I’m not sure what looks good on me…
