Home From Vegas

I’d love to say “home from BlogWorldExpo," but I really didn’t spend much time at the Expo.  Long enough to make a quick pass through the trade show and hunt down my favorite girl bloggers to pass around my still secret wares and accompanying t-shirts was about it.   And I missed some of my favorite girl bloggers when I had my wares in tow, which was sad – cause they was good wares!   Wendy, Patrice -I sure wanted to pass you some of my beauty goodies – if you’ll shoot me your addresses (christina@blush.com), Ill get you on the mailing list (and any of you other beautiful girl bloggers as well).  :)

So, I did manage to make the parties (go figure).  Awesomeness at the TechSet party at  Bare at the Mirage.   Thanks so much to Stephanie Agresta and Brian Solis for the amazing party!  I drank WAY too many of those $15 cocktails though – thank God my hubby found me wandering around the casino looking for him (he ducked out of the party earlier than me).  Nothing worse than being a little too drunk, wearing heels that were killing my feet and looking for someone in a casino – trust me on this.   /shudders

I met a couple of new folks that I had really been dying to meet – first, Joe Taiabjee.  What a precious guy!  Almost makes me sad I won’t get to have our biweekly meetings anymore.  Almost. ;)  And second:  Jon Rochetti – one of b5’s most outstanding bloggers, and a good friend of my friend Mary Jo – so I knew he was going to be an awesome guy.  And he truly was.  Hope to see you both again sometime in the not too distant future!

So thanks to all my friends for an awesome weekend.  It is so nice to get a chance to see some of the folks that I talk to (or at least feel like I talk to) everyday, live and in color.  I can’t wait to see you the next time!   And I’m glad it ended when it did, I am very sure that the whole town had extra 5’s and 6’s in the blackjack decks to pay for that humongous City Center they are building.  I am sure we paid for a condo or two.  Ugh.  Now I am home, and am convinced I have walking pneumonia and probably some other horrid desert belly disease.  But I am back to work – maybe from the bed, but working just the same.  Have a great day!

  1. I had the best time with you and Leeanne and Marshall Thursday night. It was fun and I drank just enough to be tipsy but not totally ‘faced. Oh and Leeane and I were so close at BWE we could shoot rubberbands at each other. Missed you there though.

Thanks for the overpriced burger. Next time Wendy’s is on me!

  2. It was truly a blast - I am SO glad we got a chance to spend some time together! After that night, it was all Marshall - I spent about an hour at the conference, long enough to get rid of all my beauty goodies and find Mary Jo and go to lunch. It was fun - but I wish I had some of that $$$ back. :) Take care Deb! xoxox

  3. WISH I’d been able to go to Blogworld this year. I wanted to, but my day job (non-blogging) wouldn’t give me the time off.

Anywho, glad to hear you had a good time.

  4. @ Karen:
