Christina Loves…Sharing The Love

I am so thankful to have so many friends, both on and offline.  Making a move like I have done this last month (moving from eBeautyDaily, a blog which I founded, but is not owned by me – don’t get emotionally attached to a blog that you don’t own – things change, you WILL not stay with it forever - to Christina Loves…) is rough and emotional from a lot of different angles, not the least of which is leaving 3 years worth of readers behind.  I just wanted to take a minute and thank personally some friends of mine who have been ultra supportive by blogging about my move, and, well, just being extra special to me.

Teri, who is my friend, partner in crime, favorite travel buddy and a well known beauty blogger (Beautiful Makeup Search, Aging Fabulous) – thank you, my friend for my “coming out” announcement on BMS.  And for all of the support and help you give me, damn near every day.  I totally <3 you, and can’t wait to get together again!

Jayvee, who is my dear friend and former b5 tech editor and a wonderful blogger (Cellphone9, A Bugged Life) wrote what is certainly one of the nicest things anyone has ever said about me.  Plus linked my new site.  I <3 you a ton too, Jayvee.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and best of luck to you as you venture into new and uncharted endeavors.  It’s quite fun!

Lara, who is a gorgeous person, inside and out, gave me an amazing spot in the sidebar of her blog, Lady de la Luna – can you see me?  You can’t miss me.  I am PINK!  Thanks for your friendship and ongoing support, Lara.  I’ll always be here for you too.  *muah*

I am absolutely full of appreciation for my friend and beauty blogger extraordinaire Elke, and all of the Beauty Blog Network members for welcoming me back with open arms.  And Elke, especially, for doing all the drudging tasks that go along with it.  Elke was one of the very first people to comment on my site – way back when it was just “The Beauty Blog” – and we have been friends ever since.  Thanks for everything, my dear friend.  And check out the sidebar widgets for all the best beauty on the web you can find, bar none.

Thank you as well to Tina and all of the Web Snobs (which you can find linked in the sidebar of my home page).  I truly appreciate you embracing my change, and again, welcoming me back into Web Snob with open arms after a rough summer where I wasn’t able to participate, then through a blog change on top of that.  I am super proud to be part of that amazing group of writers.  You keep me in touch with fashion on the web.  Love to all of you! 

And last, but not least, to my friends at Glam, who didn’t hesitate to welcome me back into the Glam fold.  They have all been so supportive of me always, and I am so appreciative of the friendships I have made through them, and opportunities they have given me.  I especially <3 you, Julieta – thank you for everything, always.

I am not sending traffic around yet like I used to with my links, but my time will come.  I have at least as big a passion for what I am doing now than I have ever had in my life, and that will carry me through – of this I am positive.   I am shocked by how quickly this blog is already growing and bringing my readers back to me and bringing new ones every day.  Thank you ALL, each and every one of you, for reading, saying hi, leaving a comment, shooting me an email – all of it.  I know you don’t have to do what you do, and I will never stop appreciating the little things you do every day.  Now, I am going to end this before I get silly or weepy or something ridiculous.   Its not the weepy time of the month yet – that comes next week – look out!   *muah*  Thank you, and good night!
