Back To Beauty

Good morning friends!  As usual for me, I suck at blogging when I go out of town.  I spent the majority of last week in the beautiful offices of Blush Media in totally sunny and smoking hot LA.  It was hotter there than in TX last week!  I had a blast though, it really was tons of fun meeting the rest of the Blush team, making plans for the future (some fun stuff coming up!), and most importantly, learning who I needed to bug for what.  That is a tricky thing to learn when starting a job remotely!  My last job I just eeeeeased myself into, so never had that issue.  At least they know me more as a HUMAN now instead of an electronic thorn in their side.

So, gosh – October is ALMOST OVER.  Aaack.  So much pink, so little time!  I hope you have done something for someone else this month, whether it was for poverty or for breast cancer awareness month, or just a little something for someone who needs you.  Tis the season.  (ohnoididnt).  It is vitally important, especially in these trying economic times, to support your community - and that’s all I’ll say about that.

So, on my plate this week is to finish (well POST, I have written them already) my reviews for the products in this months Beautyfix, and finish up writing about all the pink products in the world (ha ha – good luck to me).  And I would love to show you some fun Halloween beauty I have found (yes, this means 100 posts this week – riiiiiiiiight).  AND we are hosting a wild and crazy HIGH SCHOOL HALLOWEEN PARTY on Friday night.  How do you do that, plus take the little one trick-or-treating?  Um – not sure.  I have already offended my mother by asking if she wanted to play a dead person and get made up and lie on the table at the party.  I guess not.  Actually I think that offended my husband more than my mother – so, sorry.  *muah*  And now that I think about it, that probably would be a little more creepy than I am prepared to handle.  In the meantime, I need a dead person for my party – anyone want to step up to take a big nap while a bunch of freshman and sophomores act goofy all around you?  Actually, I should probably just hope that I get the basic decorations up by Friday night, huh?
