Must Haves From Yves Saint Laurent Holiday 2008

There are so many great things out from YSL this holiday season.  I am totally enraptured with this Lip Colour Duo Palette Bow:

On my screen, this looks corally (which is probably why I didn’t succumb to purchasing it when I ordered a boatload of things from YSL recently), but according to YSL,

This precious bow, inspired from the famous “Bow” bag, reveals two exquisite textures for irresistible lips: an intense raspberry lipstick and a sparkling pink gloss infused with blue highlights to be worn alone or on top of the lipstick. Attached to the handbag, belt or key ring, it becomes the perfect fashion accessory. 

I don’t think this is coral-ly.  Man I crave living in a larger city sometimes.  This is $65 and is available here.

This next palette was an absolute must have for me, the Palette de Maquillage – I love YSL eye shadows, and this is such a beautiful set, perfectly suited to my coloring (cool):

This multi-usage palette contains a 2 eye shadows in metallic blue and deep black; a pearly beige highlighter; a fuchsia pink matt lipstick; a transparent glittery lip gloss; and 2 applicators.

This is packaged in a gorgeous black velvet pouch that can be carried as a small clutch.  Very elegant – very YSL.  This palette is $90 and is available here.

My final must-have this season is the official YSL holiday set.  Now, I am not getting this, because I have most of the products within it (although, I want that makeup bag badly), but if you want an introduction to some of YSL’s goodies, this is a great and great priced option for you.
