Dreaming of CES

ces-logo Tis the season where I start dreaming and scheming ways of getting to the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas, in January.  It would be about this (picture one millimeter between my index finger and thumb) hard to talk my hubby into taking off to Vegas that week, but my inner debt hater is rationalizing that I need to keep my happy ass at home and save travel and gambling money.  We, after all, just bought a new car, and are getting geared up to bulldoze our free house and build a castle.  Or that’s what the inner debt hater thinks we are building anyway.  *sigh*

So, as I did last year, I am becoming intimate with the 2009 CES web site – its tons of fun for the gadget lover in me, and will remain lots of fun well after the show.  I’ll also keep a close eye on a few of my favorite web sites – Gizmodo, GeekSugar and PopGadget – they can do all of the CES legwork for me, and I can read all about it as the days go on.  That’s just as good as being there – minus the debt and the sore feet.  Right.

Anybody out there going?  Wait.  Don’t tell me – I can’t stand knowing.  ;)
