Tis the Season For Big Giant Christmas Sales!

I hope you all had a super fantastic Christmas – mine was exhausting, but fun.  Im not sure why I was so dang tired last night and this morning, but I guess it is the culmination of months of planning, buying and guilt that comes to a head on Christmas Day.  Plus all that turkey.  Why is it that husbands get to nap on Christmas Day and wives don’t?  Do any of you wives get to nap on Christmas Day, or is it just me that has to power through? 

So, today, the Day After Christmas, is the day where the shops mark down all that extra Christmas merchandise that didn’t make it out the door in the prior months.  Today is also the day that legions of people head out with their wallets bursting with gift certificates that are quickly burning their way out your pocket/bag.  I, myself, am dying to head to Ulta to spend mine.  Sephora is having a big ol sale starting today with some great bargains – I wish I had a Sephora closer to me than Houston (2 hrs away), but Ulta has to do.  It is *almost* as good.  I hope they have a big ol competing sale going on too.  I should probably just sit tight though – there is nothing I have a burning passion for at the moment and I know there will be something I am dying to buy at Ulta soon – it would be nice to have a gift card to do it with.

My kids are going to soon be coming into the office begging to go to Best Buy – they both got PSP’s for Christmas, plus about $200 each to spend at BB.  Look out.  My brother and I are going to go get pedicures and then I suppose we will hit the town.  I hope you are able to relax (or shop..lol) today instead of work.
