Christina Loves… Ojon Rub-Out Dry Cleanser

ojon-rub-out-dry-cleanser Sometimes I am dense.  I don’t realize how much I love something until it is gone.  This is what has happened with the Ojon Rub-Out Dry Cleanser.  I am out, and now I need it.

You see, I have been blissfully addicted to Bumble & Bumble’s Hair Powder for a long time now.  I only shampoo my hair once or twice a week, as it is colored, and dry, and thick, and it just doesn’t need shampooing more often than that, or it will turn into a nest of straw.  B&B’s Hair Powder is a wonderful product, it contains a temporary color and works in two different ways for me – both as a dry cleanser (soaks up oils on and around my scalp), plus it hides my (dark white) roots if I have gone a little long between touch ups.  Perfection.

But, what if I haven’t gone too long between colorings?  I don’t need that additional color, and in fact, the color is a little darker than the one on my head, so I don’t want to muck up my beautiful color job.  But, after a couple of days, I do need that cleanser part.  I bought Ojon’s Rub Out Dry Cleanser about 6 months ago, and have used it off and on for all of that time.  This past week, I squeezed the last bit out of the can, and was honestly taken aback at how much I already missed this product.

This is what I love about Ojon’s Rub-Out Dry Cleanser:

  1. No color
  2. No build up (doesn’t feel like it adds anything to my hair)
  3. Love the scent (as I do with all things Ojon)
  4. Does the job.  (Shouldn’t this be number 1?)

This is what I don’t love about it:

  1. No color (how stupid is that?  lol)

It isn’t perfect for me all the time, but when its perfect – it is perfect.  And it is something I need to have in my cabinet always.  I am re-ordering it now, from Sephora – for $24.
