RIP Beautiful Farrah

My favorite photo of my father is packed away in storage right now while we are having our house rebuilt – but it is circa 1978, at the beach, and he is wearing his Farrah t-shirt (same as above photo) and wearing a Speedo.  So funny – I would give anything to be able to dig it out right now, now that Farrah has passed and my father is on about day 63 in the hospital.  So sad.  I am glad she is out of pain and not suffering anymore and in a much better place.  May she rest in peace.

    I was very sad to hear that she passed today. Michael Jackson passed as well.

    So sad. I can’t believe it but, like you said, at least she’s out of pain. We watched Cannonball Run last night and I gave the kids a whole overview of her life and illness and I was just telling them how happy I was that she was going to finally get to marry Ryan. Now she never will. It’s tragic.

    It’s been a bad week for celebrity losses. A bad month really… including David Carradine, Ed McMahon and Michael Jackson. It really makes me feel old. These are people I grew up watching.
